Dr. Scott Eller was born and raised in central Indiana. He attended the University of Indianapolis and received his bachelor's degree in Biology. He went on to receive his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 2000. Due to his love of caring for families, he pursued his residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Eller excelled in his residency program and went on to serve as Chief Resident. He was also awarded the "Indiana Academy of Family Medicine Resident of the Year" award. After completing his residency, he went into practice in Zionsville, Indiana.
Dr. Eller and his wife moved to middle Tennessee in 2005 to be closer to his wife's side of the family. He joined Dr. Warren Langworthy to form Middle Tennessee Family Medicine, and has been caring for children and adults of all ages in Murfreesboro since that time.
As a Board Certified Family Physician, Dr. Eller strives to achieve the best care for his patients. His main focus is sound medical care, with a scientific evidence-based background. He also strives to make his patients feel comfortable and an integral part of the healthcare team. Dr. Eller feels preventative care is the foundation for a healthy life. However, when the need arises, he works hard to control chronic medical conditions and resolve acute conditions.
In his free time, Dr. Eller enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys Indiana University basketball, working in the yard, golf, travel, and working with Golden Retrievers.
